eDiving is a FREE service for gamers, scuba divers, and marine enthusiasts to 'virtually' dive a location. Using actual bathymetry and topographical data, endemic flora and fauna, accurate physics and physiology models, and GPS precision accuracy, eDiving provides the most realistic virtual representation of an underwater environment possible. Unlike the passive viewing of still images and video where the photographer has decided what you will see, you are the active decision-maker of your dive experience via simple keyboard and mouse controls. \r\n\r\nFor travelers considering locations to dive, eDiving provides the ability to research a site including relevant 'points of interest' before making your travel commitments. Once a dive site has been determined, divers can use the free eDiving service to better "plan their dive and dive their plan" using the virtual dive compass and dive computer functions. \r\n
